Contract farming

Contract farming can be viewed as a sustained partnership between farmers and processing companies or cooperatives, where the farmer is obligated to supply the agreed quantity and quality of crops, in a specific time period. In return, the processing company agrees to buy off the crops from the farmers, at a prearranged price. Contract farming is mutually beneficial for farmers as well as companies. In this way we are creating a big hub for corporate to procure their raw material requirements and as well as farmers as they get regular crop shuffling and sustainable income. We have associated more than 500 farmers in the state of Punjab and almost doing all type of crops contract farming.
